Back in 1975, when we built our first ponds in the Mississippi Delta, few people realized the true potential of farm-raised catfish. But, sure enough, over the next several years catfish kept getting more and more popular. Actually, that's an understatement. The demand grew by leaps and bounds, and we grew right with it.

Before long, our operations included 1,650 acres of ponds. We also expanded into Western Alabama, opening a 780-acre fingerling farm, feed mill, and a new state-of-the-art processing plant.

Considering how popular catfish has become, it's not surprising that our industry has become very competitive. But keep this in mind: All catfish are not created equal. The flavor and overall quality comes down to the care and expertise of the people who raised and processed the fish.
